Community Relations/Account Manager
Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have an established network of colleagues in the geriatric healthcare and senior living market or experience in geriatric healthcare and account management.
Within the assigned region, the Community Relations professionals are responsible for both superior customer support for existing communities, logistical support of regional clinical staff and recruitment of additional facilities to expand the DMHC customer base.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Serve as primary liaison between senior living communities and DMHC
- Intensive account management including developing and maintaining a positive relationship with personnel in communities served by DMHC
- Superior customer service including direct contact with patients and their caregivers
- Identifying and addressing any customer issues and problems and working with DMHC clinicians and office staff to establish a satisfactory resolution
- Communication and documentation of account status, needs, key contacts and leads as appropriate including regular and complete updates in CRM database
- Timely and accurate communication with management and office personnel
- Solicitation of new business
- Customer service experience and focus
- Outgoing personality with an interest in healthy aging and primary care
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in senior living industry preferred
- Ability to travel within the defined territory; infrequent overnight travel may be required
- Superior problem-solving, organization, work planning and time management capabilities
- Must live in the region you serve

Patient and Provider Support
Immediate need! Be part of an Organizer Team of 2-6 who work directly with a team of providers to manage patient needs. Organizers take calls, respond to emails, obtain and relay orders, assist with prescriptions, communicate important information between providers, patients, and caregivers, send referrals and perform other tasks related to patient care and care coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. This is a fast-paced role dealing with a variety of issues and caller types. Organizers must be detail oriented, quick thinking, resourceful, courteous, and problem solvers. Each call must be addressed with accurate and detailed documentation in the EMR when applicable. Doctors’ office and/or EMS experience a plus.
Lab Team Associate
Our lab team members are liaisons who work with lab vendors that perform services for our patients across the Carolinas. We do not directly provide phlebotomy or lab services. We do, however, manage a variety of orders for lab services with multiple vendors. Team members enter orders for routine, stat and recurring lab tests, new patient labs, track orders, perform reporting, handle customer service inquiries and manage vendor relationships.
Medical Documentation Auditor
Our Auditors are responsible to audit all charts and bill them. Careful review is given to each encounter note to ensure correct code selection for compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements. Primary care, Psychiatry and Podiatry auditing experience helpful. CPC preferred.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply to key data for pre-billing, medication modules, scheduling, check-in and other departmental needs. Must have computer experience. This is a great entry position for someone wanting to enter the administrative side of healthcare.
Dental Service Coordinator
This role assists in managing our dental services. Duties include scheduling, explanation of services, enrollment, communicating with vendors, materials management and coordination with medical staff.
Medical Schedulers are responsible for creating and maintaining daily appointment schedules for an active group of primary care physicians. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary. Experience in a healthcare setting or with Electronic Health Records is preferred but not necessary.
We are now interviewing qualified candidates for our billing team. Must have experience in Primary Care, Orthopedics, Dermatology or Psychiatry Medical Practice billing to be considered. Skills/Experience that are helpful include: customer service training, navigating insurance websites, collection discussions, handling billing inquiries, explaining claim coverage and co-pays, customary medical services billing, attention to detail, highly organized, skilled at communicating with insurance companies, verification of benefits and health insurance claims processing.
Medical Credentialing / Insurance Enrollment Specialist
Immediate need for insurance enrollment and credentialing of medical and mental health professionals such as doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance programs. Ancillary Provider Liaisons (Home Health & Hospice)
Now interviewing for team members. Our “home health team” manages the relationships, paperwork and visit requirements to ensure adequate services for our patients and compliance for the vendors. Some working knowledge of these types of services is helpful. Must have good computer skills, strong attention to detail and be able to track and meet deadlines. This position works as part of a team to address voicemails, take calls and electronically communicate with outside vendors, our providers and other DMHC staff.
Inside Referrals Coordinator
We have a current opening for a well-organized, “take charge” type individual to manage our specialty services. This role includes verification of benefits, obtaining consents, scheduling, vendor communications, managing referrals from our primary care providers and other related tasks.
Outside Referrals Coordinator
We have an opening for a well-organized individual to assist our providers with referrals to specialists in their geographical area. Skills needed include: familiarity with electronic medical records, ability to multi-task, coordinate, schedule and track appointments and transfer appropriate medical records to outside providers. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Health Information Management
DMHC has several roles that entail acquiring, processing and sending medical records. We utilize electronic faxing and electronic medical record systems and move records into the appropriate places in the EMR and determine what is urgent, routine and how to handle each piece of patient-related communication. Entry level applicants with strong computer skills are invited to apply.
